View Full Version : Flocking Instances rotating upside down

Hi everyone,

I have some fish instances using a flocking path director.

The path spirals upwards and around a central point.

As the fish traverse the path they slowly end up upside down.

Any help would be great. Working in 2015.3.

Maybe the path is too long.

Hi Matt,

In the Flock Generator's Properties/Geometry pane under "Agents", there's HPB 'turn rate' amongst other settings.

Matt, edit the envelope for pitch( most likely) so that they're facing the right way during the anim. Alternatively place a Null way above them, and set the rotation to target that. Again adjust the HPB setting so they are facing it at start.

I'll try these out! I may have turned down the rotation rate too much looking at your advice.
