No it ain't Panther -

OS 10.2.3
7.5c

Trying to adjust keyframes for endomorphs, if I try to drag more than 1 key by 1 or 2 frames it hangs, spinning beachball, for a minute or 2, and the keys end up at about frame 1,789,351 or - 1,816,701, something ridiculous like that.

If I try to drag more than 2 keys, well I haven't tried waiting several hours, but I doubt it'd be worth it.

I've got about 200 keys to shift. Any ideas or work-arounds?

thanks

try perhaps playing with the tablet/mouse settings in LW?

Use the "numeric move" (T) command to shift all the keys without a drag action? Just select, hit T, enter the frame change, and see if that works?

hey! Didn't know about that command, thanks!

I tried it on one key and it took a second, then went from frame 53 to 0, but I only typed in -2.

Currently waiting for it to work on 2 keys now. It's spinning -

nope, not yet

I'll have to shift all the other animation 2 frames forward and render 2 frames ahead.

still spinning

ok there it goes after 5 minutes, but now that I hit 'a' to see where the keys went, it's spinning again.

Now it's displaying frames -910000 to -830000

hey this is fun!

I have the same problem, when ever i pull up the graph editor and click anywhere on it, LW quits.
I've only had this problem since upgrading to 7.5c from 7.5, i also had this problem in LW 7.0 last year but that was fixed in 7.5

I'm on a g4 MDD dual 1.42ghz mac with 2 GB ram

Are you using OS 10.3 / Panther? If so - downgrade to OS 10.2.8 if you can.

The other key adjustment is Numeric Scale (H) where you can scale the keys based on 4 different values.

I found that the Graph editor kept hanging no matter how simple I made the scene, but that it didn't hang on other scenes, so I did a 'load items from scene' bringing in the character and animation into a new scene and so far it doesn't hang.

Either the scene was corrupted or maybe because it was originally created on PC -

thanks everybody

Toby, sounded cool but am still getting the crashes, if i try to select all the keyframes in one of the graph editor channels, say Position X, lightwave quits.
Are you getting that?

No I hardly ever get a crash, only a spinning beachball when I try to drag keys.

Have you tried a fresh scene, throwing away preference files, re-loading plug-ins, tried animation with no objects (geometry) in the scene?

And you're not using OS10.3, right?
