View Full Version : LW 2018 Displacement doesn't seem to work?

I've just noticed in the node editor that the displacement map doesn't seem to work anymore. If I disconnect it, there is no difference. It all seems to be the normal map effecting. Am I missing something?

You mean the displacement option in surface editor? You have to turn on surface displacement in the object properties deform stack, and set a distance.

Yes it's already on but I see no effect with the node connected or disconnected.

I think I've found out what's wrong. I imported a scene from previous LW and it had Mdd connected.

Mdd overides any displacement deformation, so that is to be expected.
