Greetings folks,

Playing with LightWave 2018 ... 30 day trial. Thinking of upgrading from 9. Yup ... been some time, but always peeking in. I'm trying to get my cel renders to look like whats shown in the display window. I'm thinking it's a light thing. Any suggestions? Or if there is a super duper cel/render/light tut you can point me to...

I'm think my light settings are washing out the shadows? Tweek render setting maybe?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you post the scene file?

Also what kind of light are you using?

Hello,

I used the distant light. I played around with the light intensity and got a better/less washed out render. My display "image" needs help now.

How do I attach a file? I basically put the scene, object, and uv in a folder and zipped it up.

I would just turn on vpr instead of openGL
Its bound to give two different looks.
Just VPR your look together.

Wow! That worked. Guess its time to read the manual and re-familiarize myself with this prog.

Thank you!!!
