Is it possible for me to somehow transfer a LW file into a .tga or .blp so that I can do the skinning on Adobe Photoshop (since it's much more relative to me) and if there is, how. Thanks in advance!!

(The n00b of n00bs always needs help in simplest terms also)

What type of LW file?
the renders can be saved as tga.
Individual items can be rendered in a scene and the different object renders can be brought into Photoshop as tga.s to give you different layers.

Is that what you mean?

you can do a PRINT SCREEN, which will put the current screen in the clipboard buffer. then CTRL + V in photoshop.

i vaguely recall a plugin that does this based on a uv map. you may want to search at flay.com

You can go one better actually -
bring your model into LightWave Modeler.

Under the File drop down, select Export, then Encapsulated Post Script. You'll be able to save out a nice high res wireframe of your model. Bring that into Photoshop, layer over and go!
