I read that RECV was designed with LW. Does anyone know if that was the in-game models or just the FMV sequences?

I have an old CG book that I vaguely recall mentioning that the FMV sequences were done in Lightwave. I'll see if I can dig it up later on. I don't recall if they went into any details about the in-game models.

offtopic but LW was used extensively in the process of creating Doom 3 also.

I dont play game but according to those who do Doom 3 was a very good and high end game.

The "CG Movie department" of RE:CV used LW, that is correct. The same team(under the direction of Toshiyuki Aoyama) also did the CG Scenes for games like Silpheed The Lost Planet, Project Sylpheed, Kôkaku Kidôtai(Ghost in the Shell), Initial D Extreme Stage, Darius Burst, Space Raiders and Phantasy Star Universe - all using different versions of LW.

Cool thanks. I heard FMV's in Dino Crisis were done with LW as well.
