It doesn't really say anything we don't already know, but it's nice to see a new blog post.

Actually it does

It says the following: We have additional content about the Modeler changes in development.

Which is quite interesting

Thanks
Jason

Ah... but does that mean
additional content of in development
Modeler changes as yet unannounced
or
the development of additional content of the same Modeler changes
already shown in the blog video posted some time ago?

What does this actually mean?

There are more Modeler changes in development ?
or
they are developing more content about the changes already revealed in the Modeling Tools blog video ?

Apologies, I see that's bad wording on my part and could be misunderstood. I've changed it to better express what I wanted to convey:

We have additional content in development about the Modeler changes for this release.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. So are there any other modeler changes that we haven't seen yet for this release?

Thanks,
Jason

I was able to get a look at the new online docs and it seems that the published info mentions all the changes for this release.

Howdy Chuck,
Any way you guys could let us readers get a gander at the new manual? Perhaps it will assist others in their decision to buy or alleviate concerns through good reading...

Only glanced at the last few; this would be the first time I can get a full read in before I get the program.

I'll ask about that, but at this point folks with answers and the ability to implement might not be back until next wednesday, as NewTek is closed for the Christmas Holidays.

Couple more new blog entries, some of the images from Matt from the main discussion thread for the 2018 announcement in one, and db&w's announcement of plugin updates in the other.

Quick question, for anyone with 2015; being dongle-less now, does Lightwave need an online verification to use it...and if so, how often?

no, it doesn’t and you can make it portable if you wish too. it is VERY good.

Do you mean portable, as in a usb to run from machine to machine without LW being installed on any machine itself ? I assumed LW needed to interact with the registry of the operating system. Is it complicated to set up, or just install to a usb as the folder and it works ? :)
