Hello,
I have a little complicated query, so I do not know if I can describe it correctly.
Is it possible to plot a text text value in LW using the editor node?

I'm thinking about this particular application
Cars in the car park are given by Instancer. Vehicle Licence plate is on a car with one texture (all cars have the same Licence plate). My consideration is that I would delete the texture from the number and the letters / digits would be generated in the surface (preferably randomly).

would it create something like that? Using a node (I use Octane Render)

I made TrueArt's TrueType Text plugin for Layout (dynamic generation of text)

It has various methods of generating disappearance and appearance effects. Check video tutorials.
You could make couple rows of text, and then enable which one to show by row weight map.
