Any chance of some lw news to talk about? Lw forum is more about other products these days.

Kinda like everyone heading to a google forum to talk about apple.

Please. I hate being negative all the time. Can't we have a chance to talk about something positive?

its about 30 parts, more for painting than moving but hatches open and its all click together, the belt is printed also so it dosnt move (its actually what the material looks like so i didn't have to paint it)
and yes it was for mccloskey as a side project, may grow into more, but printing is expensive, its 500mm long so cost about 500 to print in HP MJF,

Why do you include Octane in that list? Was that by mistake? Octane LW only enhances LW and makes LW usable in production.. worth keeping around. So to be clear, all the Octane discussion in various threads is a positive thing...

as there is no LightWave news and LW is falling behind every day, asking for more LW related stuff is more of a wish, less of a realistic outcome.

for some of us it's too late to change software, so, we stick around.

One can only hope, that after us LW diehards fall into the abyss, we will come back in our "Next" incarnation, as more powerful versions of our former grey selves.

That can be true for other softwares as well, even if they don't directly work inside LW they complement LW with features that LW don't have. Like UV mapping in Blender, 3D coat or UV layout etc... No difference really.
