Another useful link (for Blender, obviously)...This guy has really done a lot for the Blender community, as well as running the Poliigon textures website, which I use a great deal and would recommend to anyone looking for good textures. The downside to all these tutorial sites for me is, it's so easy to rely on someone else providing you with answers that after a while, you can stop experimenting and finding out for yourself how to do things, which in turn begins to stunt your growth as an artist.

Thanks for the link. Its users like Andrew that make me want to like Blender. I'm not there yet. But maybe I'll get there one day.

No kidding I've watched Andrew for a few years off and on. He's started a great service called https://www.poliigon.com/ for great textures as well. He def makes Blender look like a viable option, if it wasn't so backwards feeling! lol.
