disclaimer !!!
please do me and yourself a favor.. dont try to find any politic statement in this carachter .. they are no one ..
again ,please dont transform this thread in a politic debat ..
just take it for what is it .. a picture of a persone who is coming from a middle east region and who fight for freedom , and this is from no importance if , his vision of freedom dont fit to the one you , me or other people could have

thx a lot

end of disclaimer !!!

just finished my last carachter ,
this one would only be a bust .. until i decide to do a body for him, and thus i want to see him now as finished

i did not goe for 100 % realistic, but mor for a stylised midle line
after having done a lot of cute and sleek charachter i needed to doe soemthing with a bit more depht ( on the modeling and shading side )

i would later post a bigger picture without bard for the people who want to have a better view of the skin shader

Very nice work xtrm3d. He resembles an Armenian I once knew. You have done a good job on the facial features including the big nose, weathered skin, and especially the beard. Did you use Sas full or lite for the beard?

Very gut.

great work!

love thoes face expressions!

but the reflections on the eyes sometimes look a bit funky?
And the skin is at times a bit rubberish,
but anyways, a great image and a kool modell!

if so, could you mail me the settings at [email protected]

Ill give you one of my modells as a trade off:)

Great character, very original and well modelled, although I agree with Veljko about the rubberish skin. But the beard and the expressions make up for it...

Good rendering too, did you use HDR lighting?

nice character, finally something a bit diffeerent from the usual anime or rpg inspired character. Also great cause it displays arabic people as not the usual terrorist as is percieved by hollywood and the news. Dont know about the lights in his glasses but love the beard. Great job though.

I am looking forward to see what your next character will be. Keep up the great work youve been doing lately.

Great character...one thing, is it just me or is he missing arms??!! It looks like you modeled the clothing that covers the torso and thats it

and...becasue it is relevant, follow the kurdistan link in my sig:)

This is very amazing and a nice departure from some of the work you've posted as of late... The facial texture is awesome even if a little rubbery... Very very nice! I would like to see a render with transparent googles over his eyes. (Goggles). Happy new year!
