Ive a logo to use, imported from AI. Once imported the logo is shown still with a green background, this method works fine using text.

Is there a problem with the AI file or an alternate mwethod used to remove the green background?

Make sure everthing you have in your drawing is the logo, and no bg or so. Use the AI version 6 filetype and it works fine.

Could it be true..yes...tried and tested and so far so good.

The problem.

Cant quite put the finger on the exact problem but prior to importing ...DO NOT MAKE YOUR LOGO INTO 1 SOLID SHAPE USING PATHFINDER.

Leave all the component parts of the logo and the using pathfinder DIVIDE and save as an AI file any version works.

This worked for me so lets see if we can get some feedback going here

Surely Newtek has a stance on this, from what I've seen there are a lot of people with the same enquiry?

Jesus this is an impossible task for me, all I want to do is import an AI file into L7 and then extrude and bevel the edges.

Can somebody please advise me of the correct procedure if there is one!!!!!
