My wife just had surgery today at Duke Medical center in Durham to remove a sizable brain tumor. It went well, after about 4 hours it was done. She was making jokes with in half an hour, and still believes Star Trek Is better than Star Wars.

Very good to hear she is doing well. These things can be very frightening.

Our biggest worry was the Star Trek/Star Wars thing. She is concerned about the Cylon Boomer type port installed in her wrist.

Wishing your wife a speedy recovery. It must be a huge weight off your mind that the operation went so well. My thoughts are with you both.

Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. She is very very wrong about Star Trek being better than Star Wars though :-) :-)

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, sorry to hear the doctors couldn't fix the Star Trek issue. Maybe a few weeks on the sofa together with snacks watching all the original Star Wars films.

All the best X

Hope all goes well in the future as well for your wife shrox.
Looking back at my mom, when she was aroun 63-64 years old, she got a brain tumour, the doctors at that time said she probably had only 9 months left to live, but she ended up to become 80 anyway.
she past away around around 2010.

They did surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and all that stuff, and I urged here to dring some fluid soup from a peruan tree.
unfortunately I think either the surgery or the treatment or the cancer got back in the later stage, that is something we do not know since no obduction was made, but at 77 she started to become very demented.
So letīs hope the treatment works great for your wife anyway.

Ah, to be home again. Bet she's a lot happier. Rest up and get better. We can work on the Star Trek thing later. :)

:hey: I meant Star Wars? Please.

I didn't read everything. So sorry.

I get everything backwards in my old age. My young age too as far as that goes.
