Yes..he is inspirational, Simon Stålenhag is a Swedish artist, living in a couple of miles from me in stockholm city.

I wonder if the swedish defence has hired him doing conceptual design of our new weapons to defend our borders :)
There´s the three crowns mark which signs it is swedish drones or something.

Not sure if he´s been around in the United states himself or if he just rely on photo reference to make the scenery believable.
His style reminds me of Neil Maccormack, not sure if they use similar approach of using 3d objects and lighting as main working tools, then skip texturing process and just paint over with detail in photoshop for concept sketching.

the style requires even photographs to be altered with post processing to fit the painted style.

Lol...
Usually, countries put up a defence...whatever that may be...before the land is attacked, not after an attack. . ...as intimidation.. so it will be costly to invade and as precausion in case we actually become attacked.

After some years of disarming the military. .sweden is actually investing again..that is facts without enclosing what I personally feel about it.

So modern drones may or may not show up in the shape of funny drone tanks:)

Just went through the main site. That is truly a body of work. Some awe-inspiring stuff. I felt myself really wanting to know the story behind it all now.
