View Full Version : Skelegon Tree Weight Name problem

I know this is probably a very stupid question, but I can't seem to find the answer to it anywhere.

I have rigged a character in Modeler with skelegons and named them with the skelegon tree. All skelegons have been assigned an associated weight map name with modeler's bone weights tool but I have had to delete the weight maps from the vmap list. All that remains of the of the weight maps are their names which are still associated with their respective skelegons as viewed in the skelegon tree.

I want to delete these associated names completely from the skelegon tree weight map dropdown list but cannot seem to find anyway to do this.

You should be able to set the weight map name to none, using the set skelegon weights tool, or D-Storm's Skelegon Editor (which is like the Skelegon Tree on Steroids).

I would think a simple save, clear, and reload would work as well.

Weight Map is Vertex Map.

Enable W (if not enabled) on the bottom right panel,
pick up some Weight Map from drop-down.
Go to Map tab,
Edit Maps > Delete Vertex Map.
Weight map (or other Vertex map) will be deleted.

Save object, restart Modeler, load object.
