Hi all. Hoping a node/FFX guru can help me out!?

I want to animate a key in FiberFX's Swirl property (applied to a simple 2 point poly chain). I can get what I need in the old layer system but there is no way of animating keys on a gradient. So a nodal solution is no problem but I'm having trouble with my setup. I've attached what I've used so far, but I can't get the correct output - using a Gradient only appears to output 100%. Anyone help?

Perhaps you could use a Scalar Layer node as a multiplier, then animate the Layer Opacity.

Is that final input a vector, not a scalar?

Sorry for the late reply, I had to move on but would really like to solve this, if it's possible. I've attached the scene files. All I want to do is recreate the Gradient layer on the Swirl parameter Nodally, but I can't get my setup to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Huge thanks to the Legend that responded on YT :D! I'd already tried the Gradient remap trick. I'm thinking it's a bug on the Mac(?).

Getting some nice results otherwise, just can't animate it.....
