I wonder if there is any plug-ins or maybe will Newtek ever improve the Boolean's algorithm to create quads like the ones made by NPower (http://www.npowersoftware.com) for max...

there is a thread on this in Spiraloid forums too Here (http://cube.phlatt.net/forums/spiraloid/viewtopic.php?TopicID=709)

Oh yess, please. Even though LW is merely polygonal and many boolean effects are better achieved with other techniques, it would greatly improve the workflow. Alone the fact that you have to merge points manually after a boolean is an annoyance (Quite obviously the boolean function itself should take care of such things).

LWs booleans are pretty good considering when they were written, but I'd hazard a guess that the code hasn't been touched in quite a while!

The improvements mentioned above and better recognition when polys are smack on each other would be very welcome.

agree totally! Lw booleans are good.
the features of this Npower tools are very good though.
I'd like to see smth similar in Lw in the future!
maybe Jacoga the great could script smth similar for 8?!
