Just one more little tease.
This should allow you to add Edges to those PIP's.
Its am not quite done with it yet.
I am going to add scaleing and positioning to the edge.
All in all this does make it more intresting.
My current users will get updated tonight with this version
and the next.

Check this out. The fire is moving at is is an Artbeats sample.
The background is just from digital juice and the text is cut out
and placed on top via BobsSoftFX with a black and white image
I made in Photoshop in about 2 mintues.

Well I am playing now and not working :D This is a resized video
a PIP and I placed this edge over it.

Yeah, Bob's one amazing guy. Rumor mill has it though that he insists on sleeping at least a couple hours every night; just think what he could do if he conquered that nasty addiction. :D

bob are you going to have soft borders on pics. with color..?
the editor does it but it will only have a soft edge on the border in one direction. I have to use boris in primier to get a border in color thats soft in and out.
know what i mean?

12-20-2003, 11:31 AM
No I dont know what you mean BUT you
put a picture up here and show me and I
can answer.

after thinking alittle i think i realize that this is not what youv been working on. but if you can do this it would be very nice. i dont know why newtek didnt do this i the first place.

i used boris. it has an option to sofen the border, the pic and the boarder which gives it the double softedge.

ps with your plugin can it animate the gradiant pics we have from pixalan.
like preimer does.?

>i used boris. it has an option to sofen the border, the pic and >the boarder which gives it the double softedge.
I have seen your image, just not sure how you expect to
acheive it.

>ps with your plugin can it animate the gradiant
Its first use is as a transition tool to titles or RTV's
on a seperate layer.

Thinking about it I figured out how I can add in
the boarders as well.
So my question is animate how?
Maybe we can hook up by phone on Monday.
I will be around I am always curious about new
Drop me an email [email protected]
I am real curious as to what you have to say.

Hey BradL,
Like I said, the guy wants to know what's on your mind as regards his plugs. Send him that phone number.

Bob, keep at'em. Truly, the more they see the more they will appreciate this little 'shell' you've prepared for them. You've taken quite a leap from where you were, but you did say you had a bit in your arsenal. ;)

Bob was replying to RandyC (videoconcepts) about contacting him. But believe me I will let Bob know may wish list as soon as I get some stick time with his pgm.

Right now I am enjoying some time off until Jan 5. I know lucky me, but it's a long story about no summer vacation this year as I broke my foot and had two surgeries... anywho, I'm making up for lost time...

I think my post and my response to a msg from you were received out of sync. ;)

But, nonetheless, he's listening. So, once you get your feet of the table and are in a more prone position [re: lounging] get in touch with him.
