Considering that these plugins have no english documentation (and even the japanese docs were on the light side), I felt it was necessary to make a video series that sheds some light on things.

You can find a playlist that covers most of the YamatoWorks plugins here:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkIXt-mXBnWC5o76DoDMmVNfgkR_T5aI-

The YamatoWorks plugins can be downloaded on this page: http://www.dstorm.co.jp/dsproducts/FreePlugins/ysplugin.html

Cheers!

Thank you Ryan! When I saw the LW newsletter about these plugins they didn't seem that special or very useful, but now when I seen your videos they seem very interesting and useful. Thanks again.

The only plugins not covered are the skelegon kit, which seems to have some kind of localization error that prevents the layout plugin from converting the skelegons properly, and the point random tool, which I couldn't determine what its purpose was (it only applies changes to points of adjacent polygon islands?)

Thank you for your support, as short as the videos were it was quite a bit of work figuring out things before presenting the tools.

I can see they were a lot of effort, and think the videos, although short, are easier to watch. They contain all the info you need to use the tools. Good work on figuring out everything in them, they're very cool plugins!

I would love someone to do some videos of the 3dPowers toolset. Some parts are hard to understand, especially sticky.

I did one on some of the new 3ps tools a while back, its pretty impromptu in approach but the info is there. Sticky is covered at the end of this video:
