View Full Version : Question about weightmap for edges

Hi guys,

I'm setting up some nodes for a cell shaded render. I have the paint weights plugin from 3rd powers so I'd like to apply a weightmap to the edges properties so that I can manually tweak the lineweight in layout using the plugin. Does anyone have tips for this? Do I just apply the weightmap to the linetaper inputs, or do I input the weightmap into some scalar modifier and then into the linetaper inputs? I guess I would want the base value of the weightmap to be the average weight of the line and increasing the value would thicken it while decreasing would lighten it.
