Ever had geometry that is rotated off axis? Me too. Despite the many alignment tools in Modeler, none do what I wanted.

This script allows you to re-align back to an axis by first selecting a polygon that is the alignment source. You then choose which axis to rotate along, next the axis to align the poly normal to, and which direction (+ / -). There are several rotation centres that can be chosen (Selection, Pivot Point, Bounding Box or Origin).

Note:
LightWave 10.1 is needed as a minimum version. LightWave 2015.3 is needed to rotate by layer pivot (querying a layer's pivot location was added in this version).

Depending on the orientation of the original geometry, after rotation it occasionally points in the opposite direction to what you wanted, just run the script again and flip the direction. Also, if you have something rotated in multiple axis, you will have to run the script a few times to align each axis.
