Hi everyone
I've been working on a nodal setups tutorial and am now prospecting venues to distribute it.

I've been looking at automated shop systems like Gumroad, Cubebrush, Selz and Udemy but only from the perspective of a potential seller. I was wondering about other people's experiences with said platforms, mostly as a buyer, so I can take that into account.

Thanks

Never had any problem with gumroad. Never tried the others...

Have you approached Kat at Liberty3D to sell on their site?
Ordering from them is seamless, download link seconds after purchase.

Thanks for the feedback.

I haven't because if I remember right there's a 20% retention there and I have other plans for those.

Cheers

I think you should try on both. Ok, you'll get more money, theoretically, on a Gumroad-like system. But it could take alot of time to get customers. OTOH, on Liberty3d their 20% retention gives you immediate exposure to lightwave-focused users, and potential customers. It might very quickly bring you a better income than Gumroad.

I've been looking at Liberty 3d. By retention, you mean they keep 20% of sales revenue if they host your training? Does this apply to other products, like plugins aswell?
