I would assume an FBX contains the FPS information the animation is made with ? but if I set LW defaults to 25 FPS and I export an FBX also set to 25 FPS and then import it into LW, it will be set to 30 FPS, looks like it is always 30 FPS no matter what I do, am I doing something wrong here or is this something LW always does ?

Note: The reason for asking is that is a nasty bug in LW that often crash LW if you try to change the framerate after importing an FBX, especially if you use load items from scene.

I've only used FBX as mesh I/O, and importing into Unity3D. However, looking at the Wiki page for FBX, it looks as though it should save the frame rate of the animation. Your LW settings might be overriding the FBX frame rate.

EDIT: I see that even if you set LW to 25fps, the FBX imports as 30fps. Now, I have no idea.

It look like LW is not to blame, I imported the FBX into Cinema 4D and also got 30 FPS so I will have to look into the software that exports the FBX instead.
