View Full Version : Flocks Will Not Follow Terrain

I'm having a problem with flocking. I've been trying to get the instances to follow a ground plane or create a logo(Stick to the logo I created. Similar to the lightwave logo that opens their videos.) The problem is when I set them up,the wireframe instances either follow the plane closely or they stick to an object Flatly, but when I look at the object in the VPR it kind of follows it or when I make the Logo the objects will not lie flat. The screen shot shows on the left the balls floating ,semi following the terrain. In the other view you see the wireframe instances closely following the terrain. any ideas what I need to do?

Can you share the basic file? That makes a lot easier to reproduce the problem. :)

Bake the motion into mdd.
