There are a couple of Aura/Mirage solutions. One such is Mini CG (http://www.vionline.com/GG/CG.html) by VI. It will allow you to save or load from a TXT file. Read about it here (http://www.vionline.com/GG/Docs/pages/MiniCG.htm) in it's on-line manual.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll be looking into this as soon as I fix the latest issue - VT locking up!!! I haven't been too impressed with VT's stability. I'm going to get into the PC tonight and document all the hardware, then post it tomorrow. Hopefully, somebody will be able to tell me why VT is so unreliable.

VT is quite reliable.
One of the principal reasons that screen lock-ups occur is a problem with the graphics card drivers. You might want to uninstall the graphics card software (switch to plain VGA monitor) and then install the latest reference drivers.

Which driver version do you recommend for NVidia's GFORCE GF4 TI4600 128 MB Twin View Plus card? We're currently running version 4.1.0.9 dated 11/18/02.

It shouldn't matter.
nVidia has Version 53.03 dated December 9th (http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_53.03) on their website. While the release notes indicate most of the improvements are bug fixes for the GEforceFX cards, it's worth a try.

It's worth a try only if I don't have to worry about it causing more lockups during a presentation. The problem I have now is that I can't seem to get VT to fail when I do my testing. It rarely fails when it doesn't matter much; it likes to wait until everyone is watching. The sad part is, it's not pushed even close to what I put it through when I try to get it to fail!

i am using lightwave vs 7.0.

When i go to the "Edit Font List" pop up console... and click on "Load Type -1" to import a font, I choose a true type font, like "Arial" but when i select it light wave brings me an error of "This is not a Type 1 font"

Why can't i import a font this way, and is it the correct way?

Thanks!

Type 1 is a Postcript font, not a Truetype - that might be the root of your problem.
