Hi all,

I don't know if you're aware of, but there is currently a little revolution in blenderworld :P with the use of LUT files; in this case from:

http://opencolorio.org

Although this is not new, some recent guru's post has made everyone is starting to work with it and the results are much closer to corona's style than before with srgb.

In this web there is a section called "compatible software", where Lightwave is not listed. Also, there is an option to make a request to them to include it so we can use this color tables:

http://opencolorio.org/CompatibleSoftware.html

I've tested some other luts in LW in colorspace section and they work great, but I miss the realtime color grading after render in the image viewer.

I think we should ask them as users to include Lightwave in the plot. If any LW plugin developer has any good idea about that, please tell. :P

Regards.

This is a good idea! I commented also for an OCIO implementation since several years now. And even when Blender implementation is incomplete, it's a good step in the right direction.

If what you want it just to have the RRT in LW, just generate a LUT for your monitor standard and load it as display profile.
