Hi All

Does anyone know of a way to calculate the volume of a model?
I am trying to work out how much liquid I will need to fill an object.

Just found AreaVolume in LWCAD, I'm hoping that does the job :)

Maybe mesh is not closed properly?
Check for edges with just 1 polygon or more than >=3 for a start..

Its a LightWave sphere that I used for testing.

It works here - it's just that for some reason it gives the answer in cubic millimeters :) My 1m diameter sphere shows as 508819043mm3 - or around 0.51 cubic meters. With a non-faceted sphere it should be around 0.52m3.

No idea how to change it to cubic meters though :)

I thought you just divide by 1000 to get meters. But that comes out wrong

I was totally wrong. You divide it by 1000000000. I was way off!!! It works fine haha
