Have you witnessed any weird, paranormal or just plain puzzling behavior from Lightwave? Know of any key combinations that open portals to another dimension found only through LW? Ever found Lightwave to be a harsh mistress? Got a cat? Tell us...

Ok, I'll start. Ummm...I once saw the bit map they use to make lens flares with!

strangely enough yes, when I hit the key combo of CONTROL followed by Q the whole program seems to be ported into another dimension and leave the screen in a blink of the eye.

They say energy exists as both a wave and a particle...one time i zoomed in on an edge of a polygon set to "show outlines" to close that it became made up of shifting boxes of light particles instead of a solid line...i liked the effect so i kept it in the video below...

Occasionally I have had billion second render times that actually took just minutes.

Wow. I often wonder just what clump of electrons went where to cause these things that aren't really reproducible.

Typically just uninitialized/"non-reinitialized" or otherwise corrupted string pointers. Localization added a bunch of complexity to app's string-handling paths (paths that were historically a big source of stability issues already), resulting in all sorts of fun potentials for pathology.
