All these years and it just occurred to me now how incredibly lame this is:

To adjust an RGB color in the Change Surface dialog, you can DRAG on the R/G/B values.

BUT, and here's the blindingly stupid part, you CANNOT drag on the Diffuse or Specular value-- you have to drag on the minislider.

Because diffuse is text box, while RGB color is not.

Clicking on text box, is activating keyboard. Dragging on text box, is selecting text..

Sorry, but I like the way it's now. I often enter value from keyboard. Quick, easy and precise. Scrubbing slider to get exact value is slower.

Who cares? Obviously the capability exists, and has programmatic infrastructure, so it could be easily implemented, and would aid in UI consistency.

It's another case of INconsistancy, which approaches a THEME in the LW UI.

Your case, such as it is, against it just begs the question as to why if it's so crummy did they implement it for RGB?
