View Full Version : experienced a 7.5b modeler bug

Just updated LW to ver. 7.5b. After modeling for 2 hrs, I experienced a strange behavior with the drag function [ctrl+t]. Instead of translating a single point, it was dragging the entire object. I tried switching between tools and going back to drag, but the result was the same - like I was using move instead of drag.

I restarted modeler and the problem disappeared. :(

Anyone else experience this?

works okay for me, never used this function either, great for tweaking with needing to go into the move tool!

cheers!

did you by any chance change the drag mode in the numeric requester to fallof or something

Yes, I did. I made sure, however, to reset it to "none" before continuing. Even after doing so & hitting the space bar to deselect the tool then reselecting it, the entire mesh moved instead of a single point.

Look at the modeler about box after you applied the 7.5b update.. it says build 477 - 3 april 2002, it's exactly the same as 7.5 so modeler hasn't been updated with this update.

if you set falloff to "NONE", then you will drag everything along with it. select POINT instead.
