I am looking for a solution for a whole object to appear without haveing to go thru each part and make it dissolve, is there an easier way I am trying to find out? Thx

what do you mean by each part? how is that structured? ...if you have an object with many parts, I suspect that is in one layer ..no?
In such case you simply dissolve them at once in the object properties render panel.

If you have them in several layers, that is a different story, and perhaps if possible merge them to one layer.

Now..the last question, do you really want to make them appear from dissolve? which is kind of fading the parts in at once, or do you want a sort of boolean reveal?

I showed how to do it using Weight Polygon Groups from TrueArt's Modeling Pack http://modelingpack.trueart.eu
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1DvdkvvfAo

This tool assigns unique value to each part,
and video tutorial how to set up node editors to disappear/appear them.

I also used this technique in f.e. TrueType Text plugin video tutorial
http://truetypetext.trueart.eu
So letters/words/rows appear/disappear on demand, in animation.

Each part is in a different layer and I want them to showup without having to go and do each one. All the parts are animated is why they are in different layers.

You could set up your dissolve animation on all your parts and the use my ShiftKeysPlus script to offset all the dissolve envelopes. I think there's already a script out there to automatically add the dissolve keyframes. You would just be using mine to add the offset timing.

I think he wants everything to dissolve up at the same time.

QUickDissove on multiple items and ernpchan's ShiftKeysPlus is a joy to use, really opens up creativity with a few simple clicks.

Alternate: render the first part without your object, render the second, (with a suitable overlap), with the object visible. Cross fade in your preferred compositing/editing package.
