View Full Version : Chroma key with a single texture.

I have a texture, with Alpha.... currently it looks like I need to seperate the alpha channel from the texture so I can use it in the transparency layer, and get a chromakey (like blue screen) image.

This is a pain.... what I "want" to do, is load the same image twice... but on one, specify ALPHA only, and on the other, full.

Currently I need to copy the texture as Lightwave doesnt let you load an image more than once. But if you use "Edit Image" you affect the base image... so I cant use the Alpha there... and the image somewhere else.

Anyone got any ideas? I want one full ARGB image, and a single chromakey billboard...like you use in games..

Actually....scratch that.... theres a CLONE in the image editor :)
