View Full Version : Disable Modifiers for multiple obects?

For times when you may bake an objects motion, then you want to disable nodal motion but for multiple objects. I'd prefer not clicking through 50+ baked items.

It requires either scripting or a workaround to do this currently.

There is no way to toggle these on/off checkboxes near "Edit Nodes" buttons, either in Surface Editor, nor other Properties windows, from C/C++ LWSDK, AFAIK.
(the last time I checked it was LW v11.0.3 or so)

It is a TOTAL hack, but you could program AHK to do this. Probably have to do ALL items rather than selected, but that might be good enough.

You've hit one (of many) situations in LW where bulk-editing would be gloriously efficient if present, but sadly is absent. Bulk search/replace of LWS contents in a text editor, perhaps?

Guess i'll just continue to do it manually. Hopefully more options like this will exist in the new release? Whenever that will be.

Seriously, look into AHK. I added an "AutoSearch" function to the Menu Editor using it (to auto-click in the Search box). It's like a very fast ghost is typing on your machine....
