I just saw Kill Command.
This is not the movie of the year, but it is interesting to know that LW was used for the creation and rendering of small flying drones.
LW is used in production in 2016 and did a very good job !

did we get to see the small drones in that clip? I think not, the main robotīs was mostly arnold renders, while the smaller...non seen stuff was rendered and textured with lightwave, modeling ..unknown, so itīs not much in terms of extensive use.
Not much to market later on with a showcase spot, I reckon the new star trek series will have more to showcase and more of impact, when that is finished.

All this smalls drones are omnipresent in the film (env 20mn) and they were texture and render in LW.
Yes, all other robots are render in Arnold.
But it's a good thing to see LW in production, even it's a small production.
