Ok, prolly brought up long ago..or not.but..

Is there a way to import Flyer Clips from the Amiga Video Toaster-Flyer? With sound?

Just guessing here -- open them in a supported App and convert them to some sort of QT file?

Ok...Have any suggestions as to what app supports Flyer clips and can export them as qt?

Other than maybe the new Toaster, no idea. I'd drop this into the General Discussion or Community forum. There are folks there who may still have their Toasters (the old ones) running.

Mirage supports Flyer Clips and QuickTime and is now available for Mac OSX - check out the Mac demo version at Bauhaus Software here (http://www.bauhaussoftware.com/download/demo/macintosh.aspx).

Oh, Mirage ROCKS too! :D

The demo would be great to try...if it weren't on PC only.

The demo isn't PC only, it runs on OS X.2.6

The only one I could download said it was for pc only...and the file contained a .exe.

Is there a link I missed or something?

Click on the link in my previous post...

However, having just tried out the Mac version (I normally use a PC) it seems the current OSX version DOESN'T support Flyer Clips whilst the PC does  you might want to contact Bauhaus at [email protected] and ask them if this is going to be in the release version...

Heh..your link goes to the pc demo..

I found the Mac demo. Haven't tried it yet, so not sure if the one I got does Flyer clips..Need to get my clips from the Flyer over.

Although looking at the price ($900), it may be cheaper for me to get a capture card for my Mac and just run the video from the Flyer to the Mac...heh.

Actually, if you buy Mirage whist it's still "PreRelease" you get it for $395 - even after the offer expires, if you're a LightWave user you get it for $495 - check with Bauhaus about those Flyer Clips though - Here's a grab of the import/export options on the PC version...

Thats not too bad...$4 less than updgrade LW8..ha.

I didn't go into any importing, but the display editor has Flyer Clip as an option.
