View Full Version : NDI scan convertor AND iso corder running on same system?

Is it possible to loop back NDI scan convertor upon itself to a local copy of iso corder recording on the same computer?

Or does NDI force output out to the network stack and not make itself visible to it's own local services?

So, a slight update to this thread.

I have successfully been able to launch the test patterns and video monitor tools on the same laptop (and see/hear test patterns locally). I also can see the scan convertor output onto the video monitor app. However, in Iso Corder, there's nothing listed as local except Black.

Any ideas?

Whilst you can grab the scan converter output with the ndi monitor app. You can't run both scan converter & ISO corder at the same time on the same PC. Only one or the other..

That's too bad. Would really be useful to local recordings.

However, I guess it's just beyond the capacity of the processor to handle the encode and decode simultaneously.

Thanks for the input.

Back to two computers for this, then.
