Just wondering if anyone uses this for reference / production and if it's worth looking into. Love to hear people's thoughts. Thanks!

I bought a huge library on a really interesting promotional offer a few years back. It's my library for all mocap, but there are so many moves that searching the one I need can be tedious. I often browse then and scale them inside the eol'd animeeple before retargeting them with nevronmotion.

thats an awesome idea, Thanks for sharing that little nugget, We have a lot of new motions since then, and we have finished the conversion to FBX. Also note, that our files are equipped with a tpose for each set and we have also pre removed (BANISHED) the dreaded namespaces from both BVH and FBX files. Saving you Years of work and frustration.

I like to use BVH Player: http://www.developmentinmotion.nl/software/bvhviewer/

It makes browsing through a library of BVH files really easy. Just point it to a directory and use Page Up/Down to quickly preview the motion in each file. The program is simple and very useful this way.

That said, I do wish I had something that worked like Adobe Bridge (or similar 2D image browsers) but for cataloging and quickly browsing mocap and 3D assets.
