This image that has been doing the rounds purports to show a coiled serpent of some sort in Loch Ness.

But have a good look, a single eel/ serpent/ snake would not produce forward impact splashes on each segment as it undulates through the water, not concurrently. The first segment looks like a seal and so we could conclude the other two are also seals, and that this is just a happy accident in timing and position of separate objects. How desperate the media is to hype anything into something it ain't is always the bigger phenomenon.

Is that not what the media always do these days, gone are the days of reporting the actual news. Now it's all about shock value, headlines that pull you in to make the purchase, and unfortunately most people get hooked in, line and sinker. As most companies today they're driven by sales, if they're no selling papers, they're no making any money..

And yes, as you I also see a group of seals.

Pictures like that, and the swimming elephant (with the trunk sticking out for breathing) are classic :) People see what they want to see.

I want to see the real monster not 3 seals.

now if it had been clutching a copy of the LW216 GM CD disc between its jawsI might have taken it as being at least plausibly if not outrightly possible.

She's real! As real as tasmanian tiger, we're all making sure y'all think that's a myth, we like it that way.

It's like that movie Lake Placid... some old lady is feeding it cows so that it can continue to survive and breed.
