This seems odd:

As you can see, the Instance display is set to Shaded Solid, and it works fine in Shaded Solid vuports. But the Instance display in the wireframe vuport does not show the displacement of the instances. :thumbsdow

Consdering instancing is volumetric copies not polygons, that may be the reason it can not display any polygonal wire representation.
Nor will you be able to see vertices or textured wireframe...though it is working for non displaced, I reckon it simply adapts the wire of the original non deformed mesh, so I may be a little incorrect.
So the question is if it is to be called a bug, or if they just need to implement it as improved feature to retreive the displacement data when displaying wireframe.
