Hi,

I feel so dumb.

How do I delete the marked edge of the poly in the screenshot so that only a 2 point poly chain remains?

Man,
I tried any command with no luck - dumb me.

I have LWCad 4.x. Would that help?

Later on I need to make the 2 point poly chain "or whatever it is called" a normal Ngon again (seems to work with tweak tool I think).

Sorry to bother you,

just found LWCad Poly to Curve Command. That seems to do the trick.
Really I was fiddling with split and knife and what not all the time and could not get it.

You could always just select the edges that you want and copy and paste them into another layer. Is that what you mean?

EDIT: You beat me to it haha

exactly what I mean. Will try. More easy than the LWCad way.

Yah...but just select the part you do not want and then select invert and copy, easier than select the polychain part perhaps, after you have your chain selected in edge mode, just switch to poly mode and delete all, then paste the edges in..they are still in the cut memory.

If you have multiple points polygon,
and you select points,
say quad, select 3 points, press Weld Points,
and there will remain 2-point polygon.

If you select 2 points press p to make polygon,
and repeat it with other polygon pair of points,
there will be bunch of 2 point polygons,
then remove original polygon.
