Has anybody experimented with ROLLERS in Bullet?

I'd like to construct a mockup of something that works a bit like a rock polisher, with a canister rotated on a horizontal axis, and while this would be stupid easy with keyframes or expressions, I thought it might be fun to try with Bullet.

Ideally, I'd be driving the 2 rollers with a Bullet 'chain' loop, while the rollers drove the canister. --Realistically, I'll be happy if the canister accurately rotates.

Purely a hobby project, for my other hobby. :caffeine:

can't recall at the moment, but you might find some info here,

maybe look at the tank tread links? or gear links?

not Bullet though, but might help in some way...

No probs. You just have to add the chain & motor.:D

It's quite mesmerising to watch it, like looking at the washing machine.

Post an animation of it if you have time. I tried to load your scene but it complained about missing dynamic constraints in LW 11.6 and crashed. I tried loading it in 2015 demo and no objects loaded.
