This real-time cinematography project was developed by Epic Games, Ninja Theory, Cubic Motion & 3Lateral, with additional support from House of Moves, IKinema, NVIDIA and Technoprops.

Reminds me a bit of what the Avatar VAD was doing all those years ago. Which makes me think, If VR headsets are $800 or less these days, then the virtual cameras that the VAD was using can't possibly still be $10K, right?

That's very impressive. If that sort of tech could come to Lightwave, or some 'relatively' simple pipeline to do so, that would be quite a game-changer for me... and for many!

It would be much smarter to build a plugin, to communicate with Unreal Engine 4 (to dynamically update its resources) The amount of things you could do would be staggering.

That's a tough call: in RETROspect it would have been good, but it's a very noisy environment out there, and as we've experienced, resources are few.

I'm inclined to give them a pass on this one.
