I'm a Patreon subscriber for a number of artists:

http://amultiverse.com/

..and a couple more. It's a painless way of making sure one's fav artists have at least a trickle of income, monthly.

I'm wondering: is this a viable strategy for various Lightwave educators out there? I'd gladly throw a shekel or two monthly at, for example, Mark Warner, in a continuing effort to keep his drinking budget in the black (not that he needs it, I highly suspect). Patreon takes care of all the bookkeeping & CC charging, making it all very easy.

As an early subscriber to Mary Cagle, and it was very nice to see other people jump onboard to give her a nice monthly cushion to keep the wolves from the door.

I don't knnow what Patreon's cut is or anything, but ease of application makes it very easy to contribute regularly.
