Cesium levels are going down here in sweden 30 years after the accident, who knows how many cancer victims there was because of that disaster?

The news started to spread out from sweden since it seems it was staff on our own nuclear reactors that noticed increased levels of contamination when workers passed through the detection lock, and the american military reported on that the asphalt was boiling in sthlm and people fled from stockholm, now it wasnīt quite correct..our swedish government gathered and found out that the origin was coming from the east, and swedish officials actually contacted the sovjet union and at that time it seems they even didnīt know about the accident, not long after that they did however confirmed the accident.

I know that stockholm didnīt get that much radioactivity, the wind took another turn upwards the country, but a lot of reindeers have to be slaughtered and buried, so it threatened that hole business up north.
Still scary to look at the radioactiv map..I happen to live nearby the areas in sthlm that are most read, but still at a decent distance from the direct fallout, then again how the contamination have spread in other ways..who knows?
Finland had a large area affected too sadly, and ofcourse..poor ukraine.

Fallout map..

Well, ****! I used to stay within one of those red dots in the past and now it's not better...although it's quite pink.
Yes, scary to think that we're surrounded by these great inventions these days, To be honest the Fukushima disaster was far greater and I'm surprised it's not getting much attention these days...
