Oh yes, where as FA was so good... Rogue One is going to give it a run for its money, or even better, beat it at the box office.

Just generally loving the SW franchise at the mo and the films we are going to get over the next 10 years. It's like being a kid again.

Still scratching my head over how the first one made so much money at the box-office totally underwhelming definitely wasn't Star Wars, come back George all is forgiven, think I'll pass on the next one.

The script wasn't so bad this time for me. Maybe there is I haven't noticed, but I only watched it once and have no plans to watch it again within a year. :D

ALL George Lucas old starwars had really cheesy and corny lines not just from Han Solo.

I fast forward all starwars to the good parts of the movie, darthmaul fight, pod race, etc.
Sadly this newest movie has no good parts nor good soundtracks.

Old Star Was was continuous story, scene by scene, no repetitions.
While VII is almost copy of old script, with minor things changed.
Starships fight, robot escape to planet, its found by somebody, soldiers trying to find it.. ?! WTF?!
If I would like to watch SW IV (or I...VI), I would turn it on, no need to make new movie to repeat the same..
While watching it, I could not believe my own eyes, that they did it..
No surprise Han Solo signed out of it.. ;)

agree, i still think it was good, just not awesome..

i thought of it last night actually, what are the memorable scenes in Star Wars VII...

...

... i could think of only two, one good and one mediocre.
it's a bit sad that way.

...and as for "Wow" moments, there was none.

Which one? Only Han getting stabbed by Kylo Ren's lightsaber was memorable. You can't really watch that over and over though.
And Kylo Ren removing his mask and revealing the geeky looking villain, priceless! I could watch that over and over for a laugh.

Darthmaul fight with awesome music I watched it maybe 20 times. Still awesome!

But Padme's dialogue I can let someone watch it over and over and not fail to make them cringe.

Cool footage but I have to say sometimes when they make these breakdowns they try so hard to be creative about showing the "layers" tht it ends up confusing and I can't tell what exactly they're trying to show.

Exactly, it felt more like a remake, than something new... Even though I find the last prequel trilogy flawed, at least it was very bold in terms of both themes and techniques.

I would expect Disney to do something more safe, but I did not expect them to go so far...

That is really annoying. All those slightly different layer wipes, one is just a little bit green, the other slightly blue, one layer contains 5 pixel of debri... blabla
