Hi guys, i need to stream a video via VLC from my computer, but i need to convert it from Ethernet to HDMI for further distribution, i have this HDMI Fiber Extender (http://questtel.com/item.php?id=8&product=4).

So are there any methods to convert IP to HDMI with keeping video stream compatible with that HDMI Extender?

Just curious, does it have to come in to the Tricaster HDMI? Could you just use your Net or NDI inputs since you are sending it through an Ethernet cable?

Make VLC Player full screen and plug the HDMI output of your laptop/desktop into the externder?

Depending on your use case, VLC Player with the NDI Plug-in (free) and NDI Monitor (free) can do what this extender does, right over your Gigabit Ethernet network.
