Dear Community,

Which flight cases for Tricaster and 3Play do you consider as best?
As the existing forum threads about flightcases are all little bit older, it would be nice to have some actual opinions...
Many thanks!

Best regards,
Matthias

It might help to get a bit more information on how you want things to work.

A few question to start would be:

Are you looking for the TriCaster and 3PLAY to be in the same case?
What models of TriCaster and 3PLAY are we looking at?
Do you want cases where the equipment is wired, racked and ready to go? Or padded shipping cases where you will pull out the equipment when you get on site?

Pelican is the only way I will ever ship a computer through TSA.

Same here. We have a few Tricaster 460's and ship using Pelican 1660 cases with foam notched out to match the tricaster shape.

Would anyone recommend a shock-mount rack case?
Something like the skb rotoshock case?

We purchased a shock-mounted rack case from Videolink in Canada. Case has worked very well so far but I'm not sure if i'd trust TSA / Shipping with it.

Dear Kane,

In my special case I would look for

Tricaster 8000 + Talkshow + 1 unit video hub - without console in first case
3Play 440 + console in a second case
3Play 4800 + console in third case

But for sure as well cases for other scenarios could be interesting for other users here.

Many thanks for kind help!

Best regards,
Matthias

Hello,

there are a couple of solutions.
Only to transport you can use the pelicase.

For your request you can build a custom build solution.
http://www.procaseshop.de/live-schnittplatz-flightcase-newtek-tricaster-460cs-k00015001.html

I also have a solution like the videolink case but custom build for my needs.
If you need more infos drop me a pn.

Best Regards

Knut
