Trying to rig this little steam engine and the piston (purple) and the cylinder (green) are supposed to remain in line with each other. Can anyone recommend a tutorial that will help me set this up properly?

Thanks, but I tried that and it was another dismal failure of me trying to understand IK chains :(

I came up with this workaround using targets:

I went back and tried this several more times and finally got it when I realized that he had moved the pivots for the piston and connecting rod up to the center of the piston.
