View Full Version : Grass Essentials Experiment - Using lightwave Instances - Rendered with LW Octane

Hi Guys

I'm sure most of you are familiar with Andrew Prices amazing work "Grass Essentials for Blender" Well I'm doing an experiment to see if this can be used for Lightwave, I'm seeing if I can accomplish the same results using Instances rendered in LW Octane or Native Lightwave Renderer.

Here is the results of my first attempt using just one of the grass models that comes with Grass Essentials "Bahiagrass"



I plan on adding different variations of weeds into the mix soon so stay tuned.

Looks great so far.
Would be interested in seeing some native renderer versions too, and a comparison to Blender too, in terms of render times etc.

Great start though, and think it'll look even more convincing with some weeds and stuff.
