In the video, Allsbrook is using two Oculus Touch hand controllers to create a live art performance in virtual reality for the audience to see. Quill is the same technology used to create the latest Oculus Story Studio experience titled “Dear Angelica”.

Incredible - thanks for sharing! I still can't get my head around how the depth perception works and is translated, within the artwork, but I guess it makes more sense if you're actually painting/creating the art whilst wearing the headset.

Ivé had this vision since many years of someday being able to "perform" the art...so I could for instance dance (not that I actually can) :) and move my body with a lot of expressions..and at the same time my body would interact with a fluid field, so I would be creating a lot of turbulent gas fields, maybe do a hit punch very fast, where the fluid recognizes it as an explosion so you would have a star being born in those areas with surround nebula gases, all this while seeing it all around me with a virtual reality helmet.

maybe one could hook up neuron motion and a kinect cam and then record, apply turbulenceFD..though it wouldn´t be as cool and realtime interactive...another way would be if nvidia had a realtime fluid system specially created to work with Virtual reality..they at least had a decent demo of realtime fluids with their gforce cards.

he..just recalled this...
wait a few seconds in the clip...
